Our entire family of Capital products are produced in a gluten-free production facility (certified through SAI Global). This means whether you are shopping for yourself or for someone else who is impacted by Celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, you can trust the Capital brand.
We’ve been cooking our products with a slow, natural wood smoking process for nearly a century. This traditional method of cooking contributes a rich, aromatic, natural smoke flavour to our products that penetrates every bite. Some producers have moved entirely to artificial smoke flavours or liquid smoke additives, simply because it’s faster and cheaper. At Capital, our naturally smoked processing step is here to stay.
This product contains no Priority Allergens (defined by Health Canada and CFIA as Eggs, Milk, Mustard, Peanuts, Crustaceans & molluscs, Fish, Sesame seeds, Soy, Sulphites, Tree nuts, and Wheat & triticale). We’ve been very intentional to eliminate as many of these Priority Allergens from our production facility as possible. The only remaining Priority Allergen used within our production facility is Milk (100% real Canadian cheddar cheese) used in our Cheddar and Jalapeno Cheddar products.
